Travel is back for summer 2023

By Global Travel Worldwide

After nearly three years of travel restrictions, January 2023 has started brightly for Global Travel Worldwide. Sales for travel in 2023 have almost reached pre-pandemic levels and the range of destinations and durations has surprised us.

Our customers are looking for 10 to 14 day holidays in destinations that range from Portugal, Italy, Croatia, Australia and the USA. Enquiries for the Far East are slowly starting to pick up as restrictions and travel confidence returns and Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand are the favourite destinations.

To cope with the surge in bookings, and to help our customers, we have reopened on a Saturday. We have also restarted our online check-in for customers that have booked with us and our airport transfers offers have restarted but have limited availability.

When booking with us, we always recommend that our customers get their travel insurance at the same time as they book their holiday. Many people leave it to the last minute and if disaster strikes, they discover that some travel insurance policies start from the moment the cover is taken out and not when the booking was made.

If you’re thinking of a trip to Disney, make sure you get your ESTA done as soon as you book or are thinking of booking. Visa waiting times are increasing and if you don’t have the ESTA you may not get into the USA.

We’re pleased to be back up and running and welcoming returning customers as well as new faces to the shop in Wrexham.

You can always give us a call on 01978 350850 and we will be glad to help.
