We are looking for an enthusiastic Digital Marketing Assistant for our growing travel agency.
You will be coordinating, with the Managing Director, and undertaking all promotional activities online and in print. You will be responsible for the creation of content for the social media and webpages and analysing the online metrics. Campaigns will also be a part of your job role.
Assisting the Managing Director with campaigns and events organisation.
Performing administrative tasks such as updating databases, spreadsheets and reporting back performance against budget.
Creating engaging and SEO friendly content for the company’s website, social media pages and press releases.
Scheduling all marketing activities.
Preparing and conducting surveys/questionnaires to gather feedback
Drafting marketing emails.
Attending marketing events and training sessions.
Analysing and tracking online marketing metrics.
A recognised qualification in Marketing, Journalism or related field.
Proven full time or part-time experience.
Understanding of SEO tools like Google Analytics, Webmasters, and others.
Knowledge of latest market trends and social media marketing techniques.
Excellent computer skills.
Ability to work under pressure.
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Familiarity with different social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.
Ability to work flexible hours.
Excellent networking skills.
Knowledge of email marketing software such as Mail Chimp, HubSpot and Buffer.
Experience in events organising will be a great advantage.
Reporting to the Managing Director
Based: Wrexham & Chester
Hours: Average 20 hours/ week.
However, the hours could increase during trade shows and conferences.
