Driving from Banff to Jasper

Driving from Banff to Jasper is one of the most scenic drives in the world. The route is a part of the Icefields Parkway, which stretches for 232 km (144 miles) through the Canadian Rockies, connecting Banff National Park and Jasper National Park. Another popular stop is Peyto Lake, which is known for its stunning turquoise colour. The lake is located just off the highway and is a short walk from the parking lot. The view of the lake from Bow Summit is one of the most photographed locations on the Icefields Parkway.
