Global Travel Worldwide’s Managing Director, Des Williams, proudly represented Great Britain, coaching the O55 men at the Masters Basketball World Cup in Croatia, showcasing his passion for the sport.

We were also honoured to sponsor the GB O40’s women’s team, who delivered a phenomenal performance and secured the silver medal in a nail-biting final, an incredible achievement!

A huge congratulations to all the talented players of FIMBA GB, as well as the dedicated coaches and support staff whose expertise and commitment made this success possible.

Looking ahead, we are excited to support the GB O55 men’s team as they prepare to compete in the World Championships in Switzerland this June 2025. With determination and teamwork on their side, we’re hopeful for more medals to come!
