Things to check before you check in

By Global Travel Worldwide

It’s not just passports and tickets that you’ll need to remember. The checklist starts from the moment you start planning your holiday.

You’ve decided on the destination, booked your annual leave from work and now you start the checklist of things to do before you go.

Have you thought about:

Pet owners, have you factored kennel costs and maybe putting your loved one in kennels the day before you fly and picking them up the day after you return.

If you’re enjoying winter sun, have you got the lights on timers at home and the heating on a low setting?

You may have your passport but is it up to date and valid for the destination you’re travelling to?

Airport parking is expensive, why not get a taxi to the airport rather than a meet and greet.

Are you up to date with any vaccines and have the written proof of vaccination?

Travel insurance is often taken for granted, does your travel insurance cover all emergencies and if so how easy will it be to claim?

The checklist is as long or as short as you want it to be, but you need to make sure you go through it to make sure you get the best and most from your holiday.
